LYONS, Colo. — Tristan Brianne Darling of McCook, Neb., and Wyatt Nicholas Peterson of Gretna, Neb., were united in marriage April 8, 2017, at Lionscrest Manor in Lyons with the brides’ father, Kevin Darling, officiating.

Parents of the bride are Kevin and Tami Darling of McCook. Grandparents are Jan and Gene Mahon of McCook, the late Gary Shepherd, John Darling of Casa Grande, Ariz., and the late Shirley Darling.

Parents of the bridegroom are Mark and Leora Peterson of Gretna. Grandparents are the late Alfred and Orma Beckmann and the late Ralph and Minnie Peterson.

Bridesmaids were Haeley Petersen of Lincoln, Neb., and Megan Griggs of Torrington, Wyo.

Bridegroomsmen were Sam Witherby of Lincoln and Cody Ray of Denver, Colo.

Flowergirls were Gwenyth Darling and Norah Darling, both nieces of the bride and of Denver.

Ushers were Ryan Peterson, brother of the bridegroom, of Omaha, Neb., and Mitchell Peterson, brother of the bridegroom, of Kansas City, Mo.

A reception followed the ceremony at Lionscrest Manor hosted by Talon and Lindsay Darling, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, of Denver.

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, after the wedding.

The bride graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2011 with a degree in art. She works at 9News in Denver as a motion graphic artist.

The bridegroom graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2011 with a degree in accounting and graduated from the University of Denver in 2017 with his masters degree in taxation. He works at Kardia LLC as the director of planning and operations.

The couple lives in Denver.
