City Health Board to visit 6 properties

McCOOK, Neb. — The McCook Health Board is scheduled to conduct a half-dozen inspections on potential nuisance properties within city limits next week.

The inspections will begin at 9 a.m. at 107 East 5th Street, followed by 1518 West 10th Street, 511 East 2nd Street, 412 East 3rd Street, 309 East 1st Street and concluding with 707 East C Street at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to the meeting agenda.

The board will coordinate individual evidence hearings at the Heritage Senior Center following the inspections in an effort to determine whether each is a nuisance property in need of abatement.

The Health Board is comprised of City Manager Nate Schneider, Chief of Police Isaac Brown, Mayor Mike Gonzales, Dr. Richard Klug and Mary Beth Eisenmenger, according to the city’s website.
