LINCOLN, Neb. Virginia A. Myers, 91, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017.

She was born May 30, 1925, in Dawson, Neb., to Charley C. and Mary E. (Heim) Bilsing. She was a member of College View Seventh-day Adventist Church. She formerly lived in McCook, Neb., where she volunteered at McCook Senior Center. She and her husband lived on a farm south of Culbertson, Neb., for 37 years.

Family members include her son, Allen Myers of Lincoln; daughter, Gloria J. Myers-Neal (Jerry) of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Jeramy (Shelly) Myers and Jody (Rick) Stewart of Chadron, Neb., Matthew (Monica) Myers of Lincoln, Brian Thompson of Atlanta, Ga., and Brett (Mary) Thompson of Lakeland, Fla.; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Dixie (Eldean) Minary of Denver, Colo.; brother, Sam (Wanda) Bilsing of Lawrence, Kan.; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald; brothers, Donald, Philip, and Stephen; and daughter-in-law, Darlene.

Graveside services are Saturday, May 13, 2017, 1 p.m. at Grove Cemetery in Culbertson.

Memorials to can be given in her name to McCook Seventh-day Adventist missions.
