Construction tops $1 million for quarter, down sharply

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook area construction project costs are down sharply through the first three months when compared to prior year and recent averages. The first quarter of 2017 came in at $1,079,353 in total project costs, compared to $2.8 million during the same time period in 2016 and $5.5 million in 2015, according to city building permit reports.
