Connecting communities conference

More than 70 participants with the Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities conference stop by the Carnegie Library in McCook Wednesday morning for the group photo. The conference opened Wednesday at the Keystone with lunch and a speaker at the Fox Theater, followed by 24 breakout sessions held at local businesses downtown. Organized by Nebraska Extension, the conference wrapped up Thursday with additional sessions on the McCook bricks and speaker Dell Gines of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank talking about the economic opportunities needed for a healthy, prosperous community.
