WICHTA, Kan. — Dorothy Darlene Burroughs, 76, died April 6, 2017, in Wichita.

She was born Jan. 1, 1941, in Lebanon, Neb., to William James Martin and Wilma Vaye Shaw.

Dorothy worked at Boeing and her interests included gardening, dancing, sewing, traveling, couponing, garage saling, playing cards and entertaining her grandchildren with various activities.

She was preceded by her first husband of 21 years, John E. Cozad.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, BJ Burroughs; son, Kenneth Cozad; daughters, Sheri (Randall) Miller and Laura (Gregg) Keefe; step-daughters, Sandra (Randall) Huckins, Donna (Jeff) Koci and Stella (Michael) Moore; sister, Lynda Springer; grandchildren, Ryan, Cole and Blake Miller, Ian, Garrett and Conner Keefe and Shane Cozad; step-grandchildren, Shannon and Shane Richardson, Holly Walter, Amber Taylor, Brent and Ashley Moore; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation and services were today, Monday, April 10 2017, at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
