Wallace took a 25-4 lead through one quarter which reached 48-20 by halftime.

Wauneta-Palisade (pressed and attacked to the hoop, yet couldn't really cut into that huge deficit.

"We missed some early lay-ups, had some turnovers and things went south pretty quick after that," coach Mark Cox commented.

Maggie May's 25 points led the Wildcats into D-1 district finals next week.

Junior Faith Simpson's 17 points and seven rebounds led the Broncos one more time.

Destiny Beacham finished with five points.
