It may still be January, but it was a windy March kite-flying day over on West 12th Street in McCook, Neb., where Head Start students took turns holding on to the string. Teachers Assistant Bethany McKillip helps Sequoia Anderson, 4, avoid a kite-eating tree. It was a balmy 65 degrees Tuesday, but more seasonable weather was predicted to return by Wednesday.
