Taylor and senior Jared Matson (195) were both tourney finalists who finished second.

Richards took third with Logan Vrbas (182) finishing fourth.

"Trevor Felber also beat a kid from Sidney who had beaten Trevor earlier in the year," Bison coach Nick Umsheid noted about another Bison who placed sixth in the Lexington tournament.

Senior Dunncan Rogers was one more McCook wrestler to place sixth at 160.

Umscheid praised his team for recording 14 pins in the tournament.

"Our goal was to finish the top five (teams)," he concluded. "We finished seventh, but were were only five points from being in the top five."

Lincoln Southwest won the tournament while the host Lexington Minutemen placed second overall. No more details were obtained before today's deadline.
