BARTLEY, Neb. -- Wins have been a little elusive for Southwest Roughriders recently, but both teams got it done against feisty rival Arapahoe Tuesday night.

Senior Drew Hofman's 14 points fueled a 46-39 boys victory while Alec May added 13 and Derek Greenlee netted nine.

The Roughriders improved to 5-6 with their second win since a 3-0 start.

Southwest's girls followed a similar victory formula with sophomore Nicole Dewey (14 points) and senior Isabella Ryan (13) leading a 53-28 triumph Tuesday night.

Sophomore Cailtyn Smith stepped up to score another nine points.

Junior Alayna Whipple's seven points topped the Arapahoe attack.

Roughrider defense only allowed 12 points total during the first three quarters.
