INCOLN, Neb. -- Mary Frances Premer, 51, Lincoln, passed away Nov. 14, 2016.

Mary was born July 1, 1965, in Hayes County, Neb., to James Joseph and Carol Anne (Phares) Palic.

Mary was a medical technologist at BryanLGH Medical Center West for 28 years. She loved being with her children, whether it was a long day at the baseball field with Tyler, or hitting the concert scene with her daughter, Riley. She also continued her passion of playing volleyball by participating in the local volleyball leagues with many of her friends, and was an avid Husker volleyball fan. Mary also inherited her mother's green thumb with a house and yard full of beautiful flowers and in the summer, lots of tomatoes and cucumbers. She shared her life with Mike for 24 years living in Lincoln.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jim; grandmothers, Rita Phares and Fern Palic; and grandfather, Fred Palic.

Family members include her husband, Michael; daughter and son, Riley and Tyler; mother, Carol (Lou) Kraus, Brule, Neb.; brother, John (MeLinda) Palic, McCook, Neb.; sisters, Roseanne (Kipp) Bauchert, Erie, Colo., and Julie (Otto) Sloane, Westminster, Colo.; grandfather, Philip Phares, Grant, Neb.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, and of course furry friends, Zoey, Sophia, Roscoe and Stella.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 401 East F St., McCook, NE. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in McCook and reception at St. Patrick Catholic Church after the burial.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, her children's college fund, or to the Bryan LGH Foundation in memory of Mary.
