McCOOK, Neb. -- The McCook Community College men topped 100 games in both games last week to begin their 2016-17 basketball season.

McCook pounded Presentation (S.D.) College's JV team, 103-63, Friday night which began Fall Classic play at the Peter & Dolores Graff Event Center.

Returning sharpshooter Draylan Perkins was among the Indians who sparked this victory. Despite just eight players due to injuries, the Indians were hustling and scrapping until Friday's final minute.

McCook's performance was even more dominant throughout a 108-60 victory over the Doane College JV team on Saturday.

Unfortunately, not stats or other details were discovered from this contest.

The Indians are 2-0 entering what will be more challenging contests starting with a road trip to Oskaloosa, Iowa, Friday evening.

Coach Brandon Lenhart's team will take on William Penn University beginning at 7 p.m.

The McCook men continue a busy weekend vs Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa Saturday starting at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, they take on Marshalltown, Iowa, at 3 p.m.
