BENKELMAN, Neb. -- Loretta Powell, 85, of Benkelman, died Sunday (Sept. 25, 2016), at Dundy County Hospital in Benkelman.

Survivors include her husband, James Powell of Benkelman; children, Carolyn Powell of Benkelman and Jim Powell of Longmont, Colo.; sister, Carolyn Edmonds and husband, Floyd of Denver, Colo.; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services are being planned for a later date.
