HESSTON, Kan. -- The McCook Community College volleyball team will look for some home medicine tonight after a tough three-set loss at Hesston, Kan., College last weekend.
Hesston avenged an earlier defeat this season with 25-20, 25-19 and 25-21 victories.
Freshman Alijahnae Springs' 11 kills led the Indians (3-9 record overall) while Tristan Trampe drilled six and Jess Mahan finished with five.
Mahan also served three aces, but the Indians couldn't build on momentum from their three-set sweep Wednesday night at Southeast in Beatrice. They host Central Community College at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
