OBERLIN, Kan. -- Lillie Miller Corpier, 90, died Monday (Sept. 19, 2016), at Decatur Health Systems in Oberlin.

She was born June 23, 1926, in Homer, La., to Grover and Appie (Stewart) Moore. She grew up and attended school in Homer.

She lived in Minden, La., until 1992, when she moved to Oberlin. She married Edward G. Miller on May 10, 1947, and Norman Corpier on April 15, 1978.

She was a switchboard operator. She was a member of Oberlin United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Appie Moore; both husbands, Edward Miller and Norman Corpier; two brothers; three sisters; and a stepsister.

Survivors include her children, David E. (Cindy) Miller of Las Vegas, Nev., and Steve Miller of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Hazel Moore of Minden, La., and Louise Smith of Shreveport, La.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, after 8 a.m., until service time at the church.

Services are Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, 11 a.m. at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin with the Rev. Gordon Pettibone officiating. Interment will be at the Arlington Cemetery in Homer.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Good Samaritan Society-Decatur County.
