CAMBRIDGE, Neb. -- The Nebraska Chamber Players 11th season of Concerts on the Creek in Cambridge, Nebraska opens June 25 with two guest artists.

Mark Clinton, pianist, will join the Nebraska Chamber Player strings for H.H.A. Beach Quintet for piano and strings and Scott Anderson, trombone, will perform Persichetti's Serenade No. 6 and a solo trombone work by Joseph Alessi.

Clinton has received accolades for his inspiring performances in venues around the world, including New York, Paris and Sydney. His concert activities as a soloist, a chamber musician, and a collaborative artist reflect his commitment to musical diversity and a wide range of performing experiences.

Anderson has performed throughout the United States as well as internationally with recitals and concerts in the Czech Republic, London and Birmingham in the U.K., Spain, Austria and Germany with the University of Nebraska Brass Quintet and the Minnesota Orchestra. He has also performed with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Des Moines Symphony, the Kansas City Symphony, and Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra.

Clinton and Anderson are colleagues on the faculty in the Glenn Korff School of Music at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

Also on the program are works for harp. Nebraska Chamber Players harpist, Katie Wychulis, will be joined by Becky Van de Bogart, flute and on a separate work by Clark Potter, viola. Celebrating 20 years of chamber music this season, the Nebraska Chamber Players will be premiering two new works, welcoming a very talented young string quartet as guests in string octet and repeating many of their favorites from the past two decades.
