LINCOLN, Neb. -- Phyllis Lee Haag, 81, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

She was born Dec. 15, 1934, in O'Neil, Neb., to Edward and Martha Engelhaupt. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a nursing degree. On Oct. 25, 1958, in Omaha, Neb., she married Dr. Robert L. Haag, a graduate of Lebanon (Neb.) High School. They made their home in Lincoln, where they raised their family.

She was a member of St. Jeseph's Catholic Church in Lincoln.

She was preceded her in death by her husband on Dec. 26, 2014; and her parents.

Survivors include children, Randall (Sonia) Haag of Savage, Minn., Dr. Michael Haag of Overland Park, Kan. and Lissa Haag of Prairie Village, Kan.; brother-in-law, Raymond (Myrna) Haag of Bartley; two grandchildren; and many other family members.

Services are Monday, May 30, 2016, 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lincoln, 1940 S. 77 th St., with the Rev. Liam Barr officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lincoln. Memorials may be given in her name to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
