Hayes Center woman wins $10,000 at lottery

HAYES CENTER, Neb. -- Madeena McAffee of Hayes Center won $10,000 playing the $20 Scratch game Lavish Luck Multiplier from the Nebraska Lottery.

McAffee purchased her winning ticket at Scott's Grocery, 401 Tate Avenue in Hayes Center. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $10,000.

There are 20 $10,000 top prizes available in Lavish Luck Multiplier. McAffee is the fifth person to claim a top prize to date.

Lavish Luck Multiplier is a $20 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $10.2 million in cash prizes from $20 to $200,000. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Lavish Luck Multiplier are 1 in 36,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 2.60.
