Offutt Brass plans Cambridge concert Tuesday

OFFUTT AFB, Neb. -- The USAF Heartland of America Band's Offutt Brass will present a concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Cambridge High School gymnasium.

This concert is free and open to the public. Comprised of five brass players, a percussionist, a guitarist and a vocalist, Offutt Brass will perform a program with plenty of variety including selections by Leonard Bernstein, J.S. Bach and George Gershwin to popular tunes by The Eagles, James Taylor and Johnny Cash. There will be patriotic selections as well: marches by John Philip Sousa, America the Beautiful, God Bless the USA and a medley of the service songs from each branch of the military. The members of Offutt Brass bring to the United States Air Force many years of professional experience with symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, jazz ensembles, touring shows, and today's popular artists.

Representing more than 325,000 Air Force professionals, Offutt Brass showcases the service's excellence and precision in every performance.
