Residential cleanup

Industrial wire spools and other improvised fencing material is cleared from a West J Street residence Monday morning. The uniquely-painted green house had a history of nuisance abatement and ordinance violation disputes with the city and changed ownership recently, leading to the property cleanup. A private individual purchased the lot and closed on the transaction last week, according to City Manager Nate Schneider. "They cleaned it over the weekend. It looks great and we are appreciative of the private owner's efforts to clean up the lot," he said Tuesday morning
