WAUNETA, Neb. -- Lavern Denker, 90, died Tuesday (March 8, 2016), at the Sunrise Heights Nursing home in Wauneta.

Survivors include his wife, Elinor Denker of Wauneta; children, Patricia Ann Polly of Lincoln, Terry Eugene Denker and Lynn William Denker, both of Wauneta; brother-in-law, Richard Greeley of Wauneta; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service with military honors will be at a later date.

No visitation; cremation was chosen. A memorial has been established in his memory. Online condolences can be left at liewerfuneralhome.com
