Area students named to dean's honor roll

HAYS, Kan. -- Nebraska students are among the 1,239 named by Fort Hays State University to the deans honor roll for the fall 2015 semester. The list includes undergraduate students only. To be eligible, students must have enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60 for the semester. Full-time on-campus and FHSU Virtual College students are eligible.

Fort Hays State is one of six universities in the Kansas Board of Regents system.

Area students include:

Bartley: Katelyn F. Sughroue is a senior majoring in agriculture (education).

Beaver City: Abigail Leigh Eden is a freshman majoring in athletic training; Samuel Dean Hunt is a freshman majoring in agricultural business.

Benkelman: Elizabeth E. Earnest is a junior majoring in art (graphic design).

Cambridge: Joel R. Stagemeyer is a senior majoring in agriculture.

Eustis: Morgan A. Smith is a senior majoring in agriculture.

Imperial: Shelby Lee Jaeger is a sophomore majoring in management.

McCook: Luke Richard Lichty is a freshman majoring in management; Bryce Lyons is a freshman majoring in agricultural business; Michael Todd Mendenhall is majoring in health and human performance (K-12 teaching and coaching); Clayton Michael Skolout is a sophomore majoring in agricultural business.

Wauneta: Colby Ryan Skelton is a senior majoring in management.
