Bailey L. Siekman of Smithfield, Nebraska, and Brenden Funk of McCook, Nebraska, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the bride-to-be are Brian and Amber Siekman of Smithfield. Grandparents are Gary and Marlene Dahlgren of Bertrand, Nebraska, Darrell and Sue Siekman of Central City, Nebraska, the late Vernon and Mary Dahlgren, Doris Renken of Bertrand and the late Freddie Renken.
Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Ken and Becky Funk of McCook. Grandparents are Jerry Coyle, the late Jackie Coyle and the late James and Violet Funk.
The bride-to-be graduated from Bertrand High School in 2011 and from Central Community College in 2014. She works at Lifetime Eyecare.
The prospective bridegroom graduated from McCook High School in 2010 and joined the family business, C & K Distributors and works at the McCook Sale Barn as well.
A June 18, 2016, wedding is planned in Smithfield at the brides' family home.
The couple has started in the cattle business and plan to live in McCook.
