Dale Dueland elected as board member to Nebraska Community Foundation
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Dale Dueland of McCook, Nebraska, has been elected as a board member to the Nebraska Community Foundation.
Nebraska Community Foundation is a statewide movement, inspiring Nebraska's communities to dream big, give back, and transform their hometowns through philanthropy. Dueland is one of two two individuals who have agreed to serve on the Nebraska Community Foundation Board of Directors.
Dueland, a life-long area resident, operates a family farm and ranch north of McCook. He is a UNL graduate in agricultural economics and finance and has worked in agricultural real estate sales and finance consulting. Dueland has been a board member and officer of Frenchman Valley Farmers Coop for 25 years and has served on advisory committees for coop and ag policy development and legislation at the state and national level.
Dueland is a member of NCF's affiliated fund, the McCook Community Foundation Fund. He is a board member and past chairman of the McCook Economic Development Corporation and McCook Planning Commission. Dale and his wife Mary are actively involved in McCook's vibrant art scene by volunteering with the McCook Arts Council, Concert Association, Fox Theatre, Live at the Bieroc, and more.
Dueland noted, "I firmly believe in the vision and mission of NCF and our McCook Community Foundation Fund. I am very interested in improving and promoting the quality of life in our hometown and others across Nebraska."
Also elected is Dr. Paul Madison of Nebraska City, Nebraska.
