McCOOK, Neb. -- Michael L. Jones, age 67, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at his home in McCook.

Michael was born on Aug. 19, 1948, in McCook to Kenneth D. and Barbara J. (Neilsen) Jones. He graduated from Glen Elder High School in Kansas in 1967.

He married Jennifer Rae Walker on Nov. 22, 1972, in McCook. To this union four daughters were born.

Michael lived in McCook and worked as an independent plumber until his partial retirement to help care for his wife, Jennifer.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

Survivors include his daughters, Shari McBride and husband, Shane and their daughters, Santanna Zeller and Shanea of Scott City, Kansas, Samantha McCarville and husband, John and their children, Josh, Drew and James of North Loop, Nebraska, Jamie Wilburn and husband, Joe and their children, Lily and Mike of Lafayette, Lousiana, and Brendy Jones and her children, Cebastian, Sky and Mikah of McCook; brothers, Sam Jones and wife, Linda of McCook, Dan Jones also of McCook and Ken Jones and Jane of Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jennifer on Oct. 31, 2015; brother, Skip; and sister, Pat.

Memorials may be given in his name in care of Carpenter Breland Funeral Home.
