Students from Rick Johnson's painting class at McCook Community College and fourth graders from St. Patrick's Catholic Church visit the "Romance of the Moon: Science Fiction Invades Art" Sheldon Statewide exhibit at the Museum of the High Plains in downtown McCook. Fourth grader Halee Maris studied a cartoon strip from "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century," and MCC students examined a color screenprint called "Judy on the Beach" by Kenny Scharf. The exhibit is open to the public during regular museum hours, Tuesday through Saturday, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. There is no admission charge.
