OBERLIN, Kan. -- Eva M. Morton, 89, died Tueday (Oct. 13, 2015), at Citizens Medical Center in Colby, Kansas.

She was born May 16, 1926, in Lebanon, Nebraska, to George C. and Estella "Stella" (Ebert) Warner. She graduated from Lebanon High School. She married Ernest Purvis in 1948, and after his death, she married Ivan Morton in 1994.

She was a homemaker. She lived in Oberlin and moved to Colby in 2011. She was a member of the Catholic Church and Rebekah's Lodge.

She was preceded in death by parents; husbands, Ernest Purvis and Ivan Morton; sisters, Lorene McCoy and Darlene Townsend; and brother-in-law, Tom Townsend.

Survivors include her children, Tom (Patti) Purvis of Goodland, Kansas, Greg (Marsha) Purvis of Broomfield, Colorado, and Linda (John) Kriss of Tecumseh; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, 2 p.m. at the Lebanon Cemetery in Lebanon, Nebraska, with the Rev. Mark Berland officiating. Interment is at the Lebanon Cemetery. There is no visitation.
