SUNDAY, Sept. 12:

9:52 a.m., WalMart parking lot -- a pickup driven by Delcie Ree Smock, 67, of 207 East J, backed into a stall and struck a pole. Estimated damage to vehicle at $2,000.

MONDAY, Sept. 13:

8:52 a.m., 400 block of West L Street -- a sports utility vehicle driven by Connie M. Noe, 67, of 905 West K and owned by David Noe of the same address, struck a parked trailer owned by Randy Curtis Richter, age unavailable, of Hayes Center, Nebraska. The impact caused the trailer to move forward, striking and damaging a corner chain link fence post owned by Elzar Doak of 1112 W. Third. Combined estimated vehicle damage at $3,000.

6:51 p.m., 810 East B, Casey's parking lot -- a sports utility vehicle driven Roger D. Houser, 67, of Cambridge, Nebraska, backed out of a parking stall and collided with a pickup driven by Frederick S. Gee, 41, of 73350 Road 379. Combined estimated vehicle damage at $3,000.

8:57 p.m., West B and Eighth Street -- a sports utility vehicle driven by Larry E. Schutz, 48, 1109 East A and skateboard rode by Joshua L. Mehaffie, 34, address unavailable, collided. Witnesses at the scene said the skate board rider appeared to make no attempt to stop crossing B Street from West Eighth. Schutz said as he passed West Eighth, he heard something strike his vehicle but didn't know what it was. Mehaffie was transported to Community Hospital with injuries.

TUESDAY, Sept. 15:

2:41 p.m., driveway of 1513 W. Third -- a sports utility vehicle driven Dennis D. Cotton, 77, of 1110 E. Fourth, drove into a driveway so he could turn around and instead of going in reverse, moved forward and struck the garage door, owned by Tracy Crocker of 1513 W. Third. Estimated damage vehicle at $2,500; damage estimated to garage door at $1,000.

3:58 p.m., West Third and H -- a sports utility vehicle driven by Gladys M. Calvin, 83, of 1010 W. Third and a vehicle driven by Lizabeth A. Vancura, 20, of Hayes Center, Nebraska, and owned by David Vancura of Hayes Center, collided. Combined estimated vehicle damage at $10,000.

4 p.m., 800 West Q -- a tractor-trailer driven by Morris L. McConnell, 66, of Hershey, Nebraska, and owned by M.C. Storage Container LLC of Hershey, making a delivery to the new housing development on the 1700 block of West 8th, dropped items on the northwest corner lot of the intersection and drove over a fire hydrant that was partially hidden by tall weeds. Estimated damage to trailer at $600; City of McCook fire hydrant damage estimated at $500.

WEDNESDAY, Sept. 16:

600 block of West D -- a sports utility vehicle driven by Helen E. Berndt, 73, of 303 Elizabeth Lane, backed up and struck a parked vehicle owned by Rebecca J. Tate, age unavailable, of 404 E. Third. Combined estimated vehicle damage at $750.

THURSDAY, Sept. 17

5:32 p.m., West 10th and J -- a motorcycle driven by Andy T. Conley, 19, of 210 S. Sixth and a vehicle driven by Kim M. Ingels, 56, of 803 West L, collided at the intersection. Combined estimated vehicle damage at $3,500, with the motorcycle towed from the scene.

FRIDAY, Sept. 18:

1:49 p.m., West B and Norris -- a vehicle driven by Mary A. Bauer, 77, of 71636 Road 381 and a sports utility vehicle driven by Brandi Sue Emmons, 33, of 1004 W. Fourth and owned by Anthony Emmons of South Dakota, collided. Combined estimated vehicle damage at $8,500, with Emmons transported to Community Hospital.

SUNDAY, Sept. 20

6:47 p.m., East Fifth and M -- a motorcycle driven by Keaton R. Garcia, 18, of 809 East F, attempted to stop at the intersection and slid near a building on the McCook Community College Campus. No estimation of damage given.

MONDAY, Sept. 21:

9:23 p.m., East D and East Ninth -- a van driven by Betty L. Adkins, 73, of Danbury, Nebraska, backed from the KC Hall parking lot and struck a parked sports utility vehicle owned by Anton R. Spilinek, age unavailable, of 1601 E. First. Combined estimated vehicle damage at $1,700.

5:41 p.m., 900 block of East First -- a vehicle driven by Shelly L. Stack, 30, of 1319 East A and vehicle driven by Jason VanPelt, 46, of 902 E. First, collided as the VanPelt vehicle backed from a driveway. Combined estimated vehicle damage at $1,500.

THURSDAY Sept. 24:

9:57 a.m., 700 West B -- a trailer hitched to a vehicle driven by Abel Acosta, 69, of 812 W. Third, collided with a vehicle next to it on West B driven by Beverly J. Goltl, 74, of 38453 Drive 713. Combined estimated vehicle damage at $1,100.
