Village of Lebanon wins grant for water system study

LEBANON, Neb. -- USDA Rural Development announces that the Village of Lebanon, Nebraska is the recipient of a Special Evaluation Assistance for Rural Communities and Households -- SEARCH -- grant of $15,000.

"Rural Development funds will be used for the development of a Preliminary Engineering Report on the Village's water system," said USDA Rural Development Community Programs Specialist, Natalie Furrow.

The SEARCH program helps very small, financially distressed rural communities with predevelopment feasibility studies, design assistance, and technical assistance on proposed water and waste disposal projects.
