Oxford, Nebraska, fire department grass rigs rumble down Ogden Avenue during the 59th annual "Oxford Turkey Days" parade Friday evening. Fire Chief Bill Grossnicklaus said the two rigs are painted with texturized, non-skid, non-porous spray-on black Rhino liner, making them practically impervious to scratches as they fight fires among the trees and undergrowth along the Republican River. "These are our hardest-working trucks,' Grossnicklaus said. "They take lots of abuse, and we wanted to make them as tough as we could. They're easier to take care of with the Rhino liner." The trucks' previous owner was the Nebraska Fire Service. Hovering over the trucks, and the whole parade route, was Rocky Sander's DJI "Quadcopter" with built-in camera.
