South linebacker Colt Sis (43) of McCook battles against North giant offensive lineman Tanner Borchardt of Gothenburg during the 2015 Shrine Bowl all-star prep football game last Saturday in Kearney. Sis was named the defensive Most Valuable Player with 8 total tackles and a fumble recovery, helping his South all-star team claim a 31-26 victory. Former Bison Bryce Lyons was also a member of the South Shrine Bowl team, and Dundy County-Stratton coach Phil Truax was a member of the South coaching staff. • Great job Colten. Also Bryce. He hit 4 of 4 PATs , made a 29 yard field goal - his only try - and averaged over 57 yards on his kick offs. Bison pride. By the way both boys are going to college on a football scholarship!
