Book Week at library

McCOOK, Neb. -- "Children's Book Week" continues through Friday at the McCook, Nebraska, Public Library.

Library staff plans special activities for children with their library cards, ages 3 and up.

Wednesday's schedule, from 3:45-5 p.m., includes decorating cupcakes to go with favorite books.

Thursday -- Evening story time, 7-7:45 p.m. Wear pajamas and listen to some quiet stories to help get ready for bed (maybe milk and cookies too)

Friday - Treats all day. Stop in any time and pick up a book bag.

Register for the summer reading program throughout the week.
