Ariel Latta of Stratton, Nebraska and Kyle Vandike of Benkelman, Nebraska, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Clint and Jody Latta of Stratton. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Denis Vandike and Sandy Vandike of Benkelman.

Grandparents are Jerry and Diana Latta of Stratton, Theresa and Rick Burton of Colby, Kansas, Kathy Vandike of St. Francis, Kansas, and the late Richard Vandike, the late Bill Pankonin, Sharon Orrell of Imperial, Nebraska, and Carol Pankonin of Benkelman,

The bride-to-be will be attending cosmetology school in McCook in June 2015. The prospective bridegroom will graduate in May from Northwest Kansas Technician School in Goodland, Kansas, with a degree in diesel technology.

An April 11, 2015, wedding is planned at Stratton. The couple plan to reside in McCook, Nebraska.
