Rail stories on tap for First Tuesday

McCOOK, Neb. -- All aboard!

The Buffalo Commons Storytelling Festival planning committee invites the public to attend their First Tuesday event at the Bieroc Café from 7 to 8 p.m. on March 3.

The theme this time is passenger train and bus stories. Featured speakers will be Jerry Beideck and Ralph Goltl, the last of the many conductors who once serviced McCook.

Anyone who has ridden the rails is encouraged to tell the tale of their own experiences.

As always, listeners are welcome too.
