McCOOK, Neb. -- Be Bold! That is the theme for McCook Evangelical Free Church's Men's Spring Training upcoming on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.,

Our world is growing in its opposition to the Christian faith. From the government, to academia, to the workplaces; men and their faith are under attack. The goal of this one-day event is to empower men to *Be Bold in their faith, even in the face of opposition.

The main speaker for this event will be speaker, author, and evangelist Carl Kerby. Carl's passion is to proclaim the authority and accuracy of the Bible and to engage the minds and hearts of believers and unbelievers so that they may experience the realities of the Word of God. From all ages, all walks of life, and wherever you are on your faith journey, Carl reaches people with biblical truths, providing knowledge and reasons why we can trust God and His Word.

Carl was a founding Board Member of Answers in Genesis, where he served for 15yrs. During that time he helped found the Creation Museum in Cincinnati, OH and spoke extensively on their speaking team. Since that time, Carl has founded his own ministry, Reasons for Hope* (www.rforh.com), and is a much sought-after speaker both in the US and abroad.

Carl's approach is simple, yet powerful. He desires that people would know it, live it, and share it. How can we know that the Bible is true? Can we stand confidently on our faith in the face of critics and doubters? How do we deal with science that appears to contradict the Bible? We must know, that we know, that we know, that the Bible is true and our faith is on solid footing. Then we must live out our faith authentically and courageously. No hypocrites no limp noodles allowed; we must boldly follow Christ living our faith day-to-day. And finally, we must share our faith in love and truth. This begins in our homes and extends into our workplace and all in our circle of influence.

At the Men's Spring Training, Carl will be presenting topics such as fossils, human evolution, answering skeptics such as Richard Dawkins & Bill Nye, and fatherhood. Carl will also be hosting a "Family Night", that Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. at the E-Free Church in which he will be examining the question "Is "The Bible" Biblical?" Then Sunday morning Carl will be preaching at both of the Evangelical Free Church's services at 8:30 & 11 a..

All of these events are open to the public. The Men's Spring Training costs $25 per person and includes lunch. The other events are free. For more information please contact the McCook Evangelical Free Church in person at 602 E 14th St in McCook, by phone at 308-345-1661, or at www.mccookefc.org.
