Accidents

JAN. 8, 2015:

11:26 a.m., a van driven by Harold E. Wilcox, 88, Palisade, Nebraska, while exiting a parking space struck a pickup owned by Carlyle Zane Brown, 22, 612 Norris Avenue, and left the scene without reporting the accident. The impact caused an estimated $2,000 in combined vehicle damage.

JAN. 14, 2015:

100 block of Norris Avenue -- a pickup driven by Harvey E. Hinz, 83, 38788 Drive 713, while exiting a parking space backed into a vehicle driven by James A. Podoll, 51, Palisade, Nebraska, causing an estimated $50 in combined vehicle damage.

JAN. 16, 2015:

11:00 p.m., an SUV owned by Cathy Schutz, age unavailable, 1109 East A Street, was struck by an unknown vehicle at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 16, 2015, while parked at TJ's Family Fun Center.

JAN. 17, 2015:

11:41 a.m., Walmart parking lot -- a pickup driven by Paul Allen Paz, 51, 404 South Street, while backing from a parking space struck a van owned by Jessica D. Thomas, age unavailable, 908 W. Fourth Street, and a second vehicle owned by Deanna G. Stecker, age unavailable, 604 W. Fourth Street, causing an estimated $11,000 in combined vehicle damage. Paz reported the vehicle took off in reverse after being started.

JAN. 27, 2015:

1:02 p.m., 500 block of Norris Avenue -- a vehicle traveling through a parking lot, driven by Casha L. Obyrne, 36, Culbertson, Nebraska, collided with a vehicle backing from a parking space, driven by Kristine M. Pollnow, 50, 38195 County Road 716, causing an estimated $6,000 in combined vehicle damage.
