Tri-State Spas changing hands

McCOOK, Neb. -- The largest hot tub dealer in the Tri-State region is changing hands.

Tri-State Spas, established in 2000, has been sold by the founders, Blaine and Ann Budke, to their son-in-law and daughter, Jesse and Tina Pace.

The sale includes the Tri-State Spas' stores in McCook and Colby. Blaine and Ann will continue to own and operate Tri-State Auto Plex and Club Paradise.

"We will provide the quality sales and service that Tri-State Spas has provided for these past 14 years," Jesse Pace said.

Jesse has been associated with Tri-State Spas since 2001, joining the firm soon after his graduation from Cambridge High School. Thoughout most of his time with the company, Jesse managed the Tri-State Spas' store in North Platte. Jesse returned to work with the McCook and Colby stores in 2013, and a year later the Budkes sold the store in North Platte.

The entire staff at Tri-State Spas will remain with the business. This includes Bob Shepherd, the manager of the Colby store; Jody Stewart, Brett Budke and Lance Stewart.

Jesse and Tina are the parents of three daughters: Zoey, Zeah and Zaely.

Tri-State Spas features a full line of hot tubs, saunas and accessories. Featured hot tub lines include Cal Spas, Signature, Great Lakes, Dynasty, Caldera and Nordic.

The McCook store is located at 210 W. Third Street. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
