"Cat Pack" representative Chloe Dixon of McCook, Neb., left, presents a basket of "Dogs and Cats of McCook 2015" calendars to Lisa Wilcox, center, and Kelsey Brown. The new calendars will now be available at New Life Christian Bookstore, owned by Wilcox and managed by Brown at 212 Norris Ave. on the bricks in downtown McCook. The store is open Monday through Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The calendar project is coordinated by the Cat Pack, a group of McCook teens who sponsor fund- and awareness-raising projects and events to support the McCook Humane Society. So far this fall, the 2015 calendar project has generated a $3,738.92 donation for the humane society and its animal shelter at 100 South Street. Calendars sell for $5 each and are available at the animal shelter; at Brookdale at Willow Ridge, 1500 E. Eleventh Street; and at the New Life bookstore. For more information about the Cat Pack, or to get involved in their next project, email them at superswitch@hushmail.com
