Red Willow County 4-H'ers Olivia Hughes and Cadde Beeby study the reaction of floriculture judge Roma Sensel and baking judge Dian Trail as they enter their 4-H projects in the Red Willow County fair in McCook Tuesday morning. 4-H competition continues through Sunday, starting today with market swine, breeding beef, rabbits and rockets. The 4-H premium sale will be Saturday, at 5:30 p.m., in the Big Top. Cowboy church starts Sunday morning at 10 a.m. in the Kiplinger Arena. The cow/calf show, in west cattle barn No. 5, is scheduled from 3 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.; judging will be at 4 p.m. 4-H horse display and activities is also planned from 3 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., in the Big Top.
