Accidents

6:05 p.m., West J Street -- an SUV driven by Darla G. Wilson, 61, 1111 W. Third Street, pulled in front of a motorcycle driven by Kelly R. Doyle, 50, 1101 E. Fifth Street, at the intersection of West First Street and West J Street, causing the motorcycle to slam into the side of Wilson's SUV after being unable to stop in time. Wilson then fled the scene without reporting the accident or stopping. The impact caused an estimated $2,500 in damage to Wilson's vehicle and $1,500 in damage to Doyle's motorcycle. Law enforcement officers responding to the scene measured a skid mark left along West J Street by Doyle's motorcycle to be a little more than 22 ft. long.
