"Karol there is a something that I've been longing to ask. How in the world do you get used to weightlessness? Personally I don't much care for the feeling of weightlessly floating from my seat when I push the nose over in the small general aviation aircraft that I now fly. How in the world do you put up with it for hours on end?" I was visiting with a tall lanky classmate from the Academy. Soon a small crowd of other classmates from the first graduating class, 1959, of then brand new Air Force Academy located in Colorado Springs gathered in to hear his response.
