McCOOK, Nebraska -- The City of McCook is conducting a survey in an effort to gather citizen input on the future direction for recreational opportunities and facilities. The survey inquires as to the types of recreational activities citizens are actively involved in, as well as those they wish the city would consider for construction or improvement.

The three-page survey has an entire page dedicated to the future of the city swimming pool.

Copies of the survey are available at the McCook Municipal Center and online via the city and Gazette websites.

Visit http://www.mccookgazette.com/files/cityrecsurvey2014 for a printable version of the survey.

Completed surveys must be turned in to city offices by May 30, 2014. City staff intends to host a public informational meeting to share the results once they have been tabulated.
