More than 2,900 receive UNL degrees in May 9-10 ceremonies

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Area students were among more than 2,900 students received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in ceremonies May 9-10.

Those graduates included:

Arapahoe: Adam Robert Snyder , College of Engineering, bachelor of science in civil engineering; Carmen Renee Warner , College of Education and Human Sciences, bachelor of science in education and human sciences; Garrett Todd Schutz , College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, bachelor of science in agricultural economics with distinction; Jason Brian Hambidge, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, bachelor of science in agronomy.

Wauneta: Alex Michael Wach, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, bachelor of science in agricultural journalism; Dawnta Nicole Harchelroad , College of Business Administration, bachelor of science in business administration

McCook: Chad Michael Stull, College of Business Administration, bachelor of science in business administration; Ethan Joel Hardin, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, bachelor of science in agribusiness; Hailey Jo Buddenberg, College of Journalism and Mass Communications, bachelor of journalism; Katie Louise Latta, College of Education and Human Sciences, bachelor of science in education and human sciences; Nathan Scott Crick, College of Business Administration, bachelor of science in business administration; Rebecca Marie Goodenberger, College of Business Administration, bachelor of science in business administration with highest distinction; Kelsey Dawn Hardin, College of Education and Human Sciences, bachelor of science in education and human sciences with distinction.

Curtis: Johanna E. Nutt, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, bachelor of science in agribusiness .

Maywood: Whitney Johanna Messersmith, College of Education and Human Sciences, bachelor of science in education and human sciences

UNL awarded postgraduate degrees on May 9 and bachelors degrees on May 10 in ceremonies at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The College of Law conducted a separate ceremony on May 10 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. The graduates are from 46 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and 37 countries.
