IMPERIAL, Nebraska -- Harlan "Smitty" Smith, 86, died Tuesday (March 18, 2014), at Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial.

Survivors include his wife, Joy of Imperial; children, Steven and wife, Peggy of Imperial, Michael and wife, Ann of Imperial, Dick and companion, Susie of Omaha, Nebraska, and Teri Spady and husband, Lennie, of Imperial; stepson, Michael Molzahn and companion, Diana; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services are Friday, March 21, 2014, 10:30 a.m. (MT), at Zion Lutheran Church in Imperial, with the Rev. David Kahle officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial.

Visitation is Thursday, March 20, 2014, 2-6 p.m. (MT) at the funeral home in Imperial.
