CURTIS, Nebraska -- Medicine Valley Public Schools and the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, both in Curtis, Nebraska, have signed an agreement to allow Medicine Valley juniors and seniors to take dual credit classes at NCTA.

The Frontier County Enterprise newspaper reports that Medicine Valley students will receive reduced tuition costs in dual credit courses.

Medicine Valley Superintendent Alan Garey told the Enterprise, "This partnership ... will allow our students to experience the college environment while finishing their secondary degree. I am very appreciative of the efforts made by NCTA to allow our students to participate in the program, as it will help all participants start a positive post-secondary career."

NCTA dean Ron Rosati is quoted, "This partnership allows students in our community to get a jump start on college in a supportive, low-risk and low-cost environment."
