BROOKSVILLE, Florida - Charles Edgar Finertie Jr. of Brooksville, Florida, died Jan. 18, 2014.

He was born July 17, 1939, in Roselle Park, New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of the Spring Hill United Church of Christ, and the Hernando Harmonizers Barber Shop Group. At one point, he was a pastor in churches at Trenton and Hayes Center, Nebraska, and lived in McCook.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edgar Finertie Sr. and mother, Mary Lytle Osmond.

He is survived by a grandson, Joel Duffina.

Memorial services are Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. at Spring Hill United Church of Christ.
