Hillcrest board will elect officers

MCCOOK, Nebraska -- Hillcrest Nursing Home Board of Trustees will elect new officers and meet a new incoming board member, Tuesday, 10 a.m. at the lower conference room at Hillcrest.

Board members are appointed by Red Willow County Commissioners. Although Hillcrest Nursing Home is owned by Red Willow County, it operates on its own expenses.

Tuesday's board meeting will begin with the election of board officers.

Officers for 2013 were Jim Howard,president, Karen Kliment, secretary and Janice Bamesburger, serving her second term as treasurer.

Other items on Tuesday's agenda include a representative from the facility's insurance carrier, who will update board members on how the Affordable Care act will impact the Hillcrest.
