ARAPAHOE, KEARNEY, Nebraska -- It is Show Time! Nebraska Pride Chorus of Sweet Adelines International once again presents its annual show.

Under the direction of co-directors, Evie Caldwell and Connie Witt, women from 13 central Nebraska towns join in bringing a fun filled afternoon or evening of a cappella singing, barbershop style, to Central Nebraska towns.

Caldwell, from McCook and Witt, from Kearney have shared the duties of leading the chorus for the last year.

"Runnin' Wild" show times and dates are Saturday, Oct. 26 in Arapahoe, Ella Missing Center, at 2 p.m. and later that night at 7:30 p.m. at the Merryman Performing Arts Center, in Kearney. The show will then be performed at the North Platte high school Sunday Oct. 27 at 2 p.m.

This music is all woven into a zany story of two Nebraska gals "Runnin' Wild" as they set off to see the USA after a week at the State Fair. The show is sure to please music lovers of all ages.

Special guest performers this year are Very Light Opera Company, a women's quartet from Colorado Springs, Colorado.

They bring their very own crazy comedy with a solid barbershop sound to add to the fun of the chorus. They have been entertaining audiences around a four state area for many years.

Save on advance tickets by asking any chorus member or calling 308-440-6409. Tickets are also available at True Value Store in Kearney and at the door. For more information about Nebraska Pride Chorus, check the web site at "http://www.nepridechorus.com" www.nepridechorus.com.
