More than $57K awarded to students attending MCC

MCCOOK, Nebraska -- Students enrolled at McCook Community College for Fall 2013 semester have been awarded a total of more than $57,500 in student financial aid for academic year 2013-14, sponsored by the McCook College Foundation and a number of individuals and organizations. Students awarded Foundation Board Designated and Donor Specified Scholarships are incoming freshmen, returning sophomores, and MCC 2013 graduates continuing their education at University of Nebraska Kearney and Hastings College. Area students receiving awards include:

The McCook College Foundation also awarded student financial aid to Ulkar Turabova, Clint Bryant, Jenny Larrington, Laura Ruggles, Nichole Emrich and Tasha Nelson enrolled in a bachelor degree program with Bellevue University through McCook Community College.

This Advanced Studies support is sponsored by the Volentine Family Foundation to honor Myatt W. and Mary Genevieve Volentine.
