McCook-GINW game to be streamed

GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska -- On Friday Sept. 13, The Grand Island Independent will be webcasting the McCook Bison football game with Grand Island Northwest. The game will be live streamed using multiple cameras with two announcers on the paper's website, www.theindependent.com.

To find the game, go to www.theindependent.com and click on Nebraska Prep Zone. The broadcast will begin at 5:45 p.m..

The live web broadcast will give Bison fans that can't make the trip to Grand Island a chance to see their team in action. It is also a chance for family and friends all over the country to log on and watch Nebraska high school football.

The Grand Island Independent is in their third year of live streaming high school sports. The paper has broadcast football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and track. All Grand Island Independent Nebraska Prep Zone broadcasts are sponsored by Tom Dinsdale Automotive in Grand Island.
